I have one place where I typically stop when I need a dress or outfit for a special occasion/night out. South Moon Under, duh. As if you couldn’t tell from previous blog posts! ;] I’ll be attending a small private shopping party there next week to stock up on some fall essentials, and I can’t wait to browse their new arrivals! I have a few weddings coming up this season and they have started to expand on their special occasion dresses and this one is PER-FECT for these events!

I was torn between a few different styles, but I loved the subtle cutout on this dress. It’s a little bit edgy without being overly sexy, ya know? The sequin detail is so swoon-worthy as well! Everything about this dress, I love.
So I’m torn between wearing this dress, or a long gown I bought from Shein (for literally less than $30 hiioo!!) to the wedding next month. It’s October, so I feel like I could totally get away with a floor length dress… but you just never know how fancy the event is going to be or what the brides maids are going to be wearing! So I just don’t know… this SMU dress might just be the perfect stress reliever!
