First off, Happy Happy New Year! Happy 2016 ya’ll! I hope your NYE celebration was magical and wonderful and your new year is already off to a great start. :] I’ve been incorporating a lot of grey into my wardrobe this winter, I really enjoy using gray as a neutral. Soft colors like nudes and beige work wonders for summer and fall but I like something a little bit more monochromatic for cooler months. Grey blends in so well with the scenery this time of year. I dig it.

It’s like just starting to become cold enough to wear my actual winter coats now. Ya know… in January… took ya long enough, winter! (Not that I’m complaining). I bought this coat months ago and was so stoked to wear it, only to have it sit in my closet for the next 3 months. Now that it’s finally getting colder I’ve been wearing it on repeat. It’s comfortable and not overwhelming, which is key for me when I’m shopping for winter coats.
How cute is this ruffle dress from Shein? It went perrrrrrfectly with my coat and boots that I can’t seem to stop wearing. It’s a very comfortable dress too, which is always a plus. When it gets too cold for me to wear these boots alone all together this dress will look cute with tights and heels too.
