I bought this dress a few months back when I was on the hunt for the perfect dress to wear to a wedding. Originally I wanted a gown, but gave it a second thought. I wasn’t sure how many times I could get away with wearing a floor length gown and I didn’t want to spend the money on something I’d wear once or twice. When I found this dress it didn’t scream BUY ME BUY ME from the hanger, but I tried it on anyway and fell in love. This was a dress I knew I’d get my moneys worth from.

I tried on dresses with one of my best friends who also had a wedding to attend and when I first came out in this dress the consensus was, ‘eh.’ However, I stood outside my dressing room in front of 3 full length mirrors and stared at myself for a solid 5 minutes… maaaaybe even twirled and posed a little bit, and the more we stared at it the more we loved it. It’s made of neoprene fabric, which is basically a dress made out of wetsuit material, so it’s perfect for the cooler months. I stayed extremely toasty all night long! Just don’t expect to go outside and not need some sort of coverup, it’s not that warm, but for an indoor Christmas party? Perfection.
These earrings are everything! When I received them I was so excited and knew immediately I was going to pair them with this dress. At the wedding I styled my hair with vintage curls to one side and wore long statement earrings, so I knew these would be perfect for the Christmas party. A little black dress, a vintage do, red lip, and statement earrings are all you need for a flawless holiday look this year!
