I found this leather crop top at Forever21 and immediately fell in love with it. However, I was like… hmmm… what in the world am I going to wear this with that won’t make me look like a dominatrix? I am a mother of two, after all, not exactly in my edgy prime anymore, haha. I decided to pair it with an ultra feminine full skirt to create harmony with this edgy and feminine look.

I mean, I just love this top so much! It’s sexy, right? Of course it is.. it’s a leather crop top, ha! Like I said above, I didn’t want to look like a dominatrix so pairing it with a floral full skirt seemed like an obvious choice for me. I also tried it on with a pair of high waisted joggers and a blazer and I must say, it’s phenomenal. I may have to throw that up on the blog soon too!
I have a confession… I keep a leather jacket in my car because it has officially become my go-to throw on. Two years ago it used to be a hoodie, seriously. I was like… I don’t care what I look like I need to be comfortable towing around my child. I’ve come a long way since then. Now I’m all about the leather because they finally go with anything. It used to be that you could only wear a moto jacket if you were actually on the back of a motorcycle, ha. Now you’re encouraged to wear them with just about anything and I could not be happier!
