I am a huge fan of matching sets. However, for some reason, I always hold back from buying them. It’s strange really, now that I think about… every time I see them on someone else I swoon over every little detail but always think, “well I’ll never have anywhere to wear one of those so I’ll just skip it.” LAME. BORING. I’ve decided to dip my toes in the matching sets trend while there is still time and I am as in love with this look as I thought I might be!

I considered wearing this to fashion week this year actually, but I ended up deciding not to attend the event at the last minute.. so unfortunately this pretty little number has not had the chance to leave the state yet. How beautiful are these details thought? I’m mildly obsessed with it! Both the top and skirt are made with a more structured material so it kind of keeps everything in place while still managing to mold every curve of your body in an incredibly flattering way!
Also when is the last time you wore hoop earrings? I hadn’t literally since high school but I found this pair at Roman & Sunstone that was just the right size and covered in rhine stones and for whatever reason they spoke to me! I mean, 90’s trends are still a thing right? So it’s fine. They were so pretty I couldn’t help myself! Anyway, now that I know I can rock these little sets with the best of ’em, I envision a lot more of these in my wardrobe and on the blog in the near future!
