Ok… I have to be honest… I stole the title of this post from the nail polish I was wearing during it, ha. What a friggen cute name for a polish right? Especially appropriate since I was heading to CT to watch my friend preform with his current band, Adler (featuring Guns N’ Roses original drummer Steven Adler, of course!).
H&M SKIRT (similar, similar) & T-SHIRT || LULU’S BOOTIES ℅ || FOREVER21 SHADES || REBECCA MINKOFF BAG ℅ SOUTH MOON UNDER || VI MONDI NECKLACE ℅ || BOY MEETS GIRL X ROMAN LUXE RING ℅ (no longer available, LOVE this one too!) || MEG’S BROKEN WINGS CUSTOM RINGS ℅
I purchased this skirt and t-shirt together but had originally intended to wear them separately. I wanted to wear the skirt with a bralette you’ll be seeing on the blog soon, but fell in love with the way it looked more relaxed when paired with this t-shirt instead. I knew I was going to be standing during the concert so I wanted to be comfortable, but couldn’t bare the thought of wearing flats with a mini skirt so I opted for my favorite and most comfortable booties.
Isn’t this necklace amazing, as well? It’s hard to see the details with how bright it was, but the crystal at the end of this piece just makes my life. It brings out my inner 90’s child who wore these crystal necklaces like ALL the time. I really like how long it is as well, but when ordering you do have the option of a shorter chain, and I do love to have options! Below are a few pictures from our weekend for you to enjoy!
I’ve known Jacob and his band mates from Lynam since I was a senior in high school. Every time I have seen Jacob over the past 10 years it has been for a few hours here or there for a weekend at time when they stop in NJ for a show, or on their way to their next show… but THIS time we got to spend a lot of time together… and you really learn a lot about a person when you spend as much time together as we did. For example, Jacob has an unhealthy obsession with Starbucks and donuts, haha. The night of the show was also his birthday so I showed up to his gig with a box of Broad St. Dough Co. donuts, of course! They’re good people and Lynam & Adler are pretty badass and amazing bands so if you like good music you should obviously check them out!
