Mellow Yellow

It may be September but thanks to this little heat wave we are experiencing I have not felt the need to pack away all of my favorite summer items just yet! This adorable yellow pleated skirt has been on repeat lately and there are so many easy ways to update it for fall but this is how I’m rocking it in the warmer months!

I am in love with these sweet pleated skirt! I wanted to add something to my closet that was unlike anything I already owned and this yellow skirt was it! When I look in my closet there’s a ton of color, but not a whole lot of yellow. I pictured wearing this skirt a few different ways so I knew it would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe.

Shortly after I took these pictures I found a sleeveless button-up white blouse from H&M that is made to be tied at the waist and let me tell you, it was basically made for this skirt! I may have to re-do that outfit for the blog because it’s super cute. To get more wear out of an outfit like this, swap out the vest for a full denim jacket and these wedges for low ankle booties and you’re good to go for at least a few more weeks!
