Slip into Something a Little More Comfortable

With the temperature slowly rising I cannot help but get giddy over spring and summer garments. Just this morning I tried to walk out of the house in a backless t-shirt only to have to turn around and throw on a sweater because it was slightly more breezy than I had anticipated. However, there is a perfect combination for these not quite hot, not quite cool days; a light dress and a long cardigan.

EMERALD EARRINGS LONG CARDIGAN LOVE NECKLACE

Isn’t this necklace so cute? I love how delicate it is. When my cousin and I were in Florida she took me to this store that was packed from wall to wall with delicate little pieces like this or bold statement accessories. They pretty much had anything you could think of, and the best part, almost nothing was above $20. (This necklace was only $12…. for real). I can’t remember the exact name of the place, but it’s in Naples… if you’re ever in that area, haha!

When I think of slip dresses it only feels appropriate to pair them with a slinky little bralette. Slip dresses tend to be a little looser and a bralette is often times supposed to be seen, so they pair perfectly together. I love this dress from Pink Blush; it is so sweet and feminine! I felt very cozy with this light dress wrapped up in my long knit cardi. Although… as much as I love my layers, I am SO looking forward to shedding a few this summer and wearing this dress with nothing over it. Who’s with me?
