For Valentine’s Day my dear husband, who I thought knew me so well, bought me a Burberry coat. Which sounds fabulous… but it was all wrong. I have been lusting after the burberry trench with black leather sleeves for a few years now, and if you’re going to wrap up a Burberry box, that better be in it. However… instead he bought me a serious mom coat. A cropped, quilted, cream colored coat. Thanks Matt… I played with the idea of keeping it as to not hurt his feelings, maybeeee exchanging it for the red one to make it more ‘me,’ but alas, I had to exchange it for something else entirely. And I’m glad I did because I found the perfect coat for spring that is me to a t!

Two things: 1… this bag is perfect for spring, right along with this coat, but I’ve talked about that a million times, ha, and 2… I really love this necklace. I have yet to send it back to Rocksbox and each day it stays in my home it kind of becomes more a part of me… haha! I don’t think I can give it back. eep!

So about this coat! It’s so light, which is one of the reasons I was so drawn to it. It’s perfect for layering on cooler spring days when it’s not quite warm enough to head out sans coat yet but you don’t want to over heat either. So I mean I could go on and on about this coat but I’ll stop here.. You get the picture. ;]
At least he tried! Even if it was a mom coat from Burberry I would take it! I want the trench with the leather sleeves SO BADLY! I really love yours though…I keep asking my mom for one and she says no way. I have two of the quilted coats however and love those! Burberry is one of my favorites!
