I have officially decided that I am throwing in the towel on trying to keep my hair under control. It is one hot, humid summer and I can’t even blow dry my hair inside my own home without having to blast myself with the cold air every 2 minutes. It’s a disaster, it doesn’t last. It’s like me in high school, can’t be tamed. HA! Just kidding….. sort of.

A few weeks back I asked on Style Chat if anyone could recommend a good rain coat and I was so pleased with all the replies! (Side note: if you’re a blogger, or fashion lover in general, you should definitely join #stylechat via twitter every Wednesday afternoon! It’s the best.) Anywho, I stated I wanted a classic trench, got some fab recommendations, and I set off to find the perfect one! I found this coat at Nordstrom on sale for less than $100 after a little bit of digging! Total score. The perfect timing too with all of this crazy weather we’ve been having!
These Steve Madden booties are just amazing as well! They’re super comfortable, BUT, my only complaint is that they can pinch around the toes if you wear them for too long. Other than that, I could wear these bad boys on the daily. I’m trying to wear more “sensible” shoes… I’m a mother of two now, I’m supposed to do that, right? ;]
