They don’t call New Jersey the Garden State for nothing! There are so many beautiful spaces all over this state. While taking our little nugget for a picnic over the weekend, we stumbled upon this gorgeous botanical garden, Deep Cut Gardens. We went back the following day for a little exploring.

This whole place is like 5 minutes away from a super busy town. That’s crazy to me! But also kind of why I love it. They had a gorgeous (and very humid!) green house with lots of little baby plants growing away!
After a little exploring we were about ready to wrap it up when we stumbled upon this gorgeous, very Alice in Wonderland-like garden.
There were adorable couples having picnics all over the place down here! I think we found our next picnic spot :] It’s just lovely! If it weren’t so hot it would have been the perfect day! I’m definitely looking forward to going back next month when it starts to cool down a tad.
Anywho, enough about the garden, what about my dress! Isn’t it just daaaahhhling? I love it because it is so flirty and feminine.. I don’t do that look too often! When we dropped Charlotte off at my parent’s house they kept referring to me as June Cleaver. I kind of like it! It’s a far cry from my “boo you whore” shirt! hah. What I love most about this dress, from eShakti, is that I designed it! I picked the length and changed it from regular straps to a halter and added the piping to the bodice. Project Runway here I come! ……Psyche! I don’t typically wear prints so the fact that this is subtle was a great way for me to dip my toe into the trend without going overboard. And! It’s super pretty against this garden back drop. #love. What do you guys think? Like my edgy or feminine looks better? I know which one I prefer! ;] Until next time, kisses!
