Every so often I obsess over certain things, especially when it comes to my wardrobe and my look overall. For a while, it was lipstick. I had to have one in every shade and finish; I barely EVER wear it. For the past few months I’ve been in a much more practical stripe craze. Everything has to have stripes. Actually, I would say it’s been since last Fall when I found the most perfect striped sweater from The Loft (mom clothes, fo’ sho’ but cute none the less). It fit like it was made for my body and it was absurdly comfortable. Since then, every 4th item of clothing I purchase is in one way or another striped. Now, like I’ve said before, my office is uber casual so getting dressed up actually makes you look kind of silly. Sometimes though, you just need to! There’s only so many jeans and t-shirt combinations I can pull off in one week. This is one of my favorite outfits for work (and perfect for happy hour as well, I might add!) when I’m feeling a little frisky.

This outfit is lacking a pop of color so I would suggest a cute slim belt, or a very Blair Waldorf style headband, and there ya have it.
